I believe this is my first Journal post, and I wanted to tell you a little about myself.

I'm not incredibly big on television, which is why when I find a show I really like I fall in love. My number one favorite television series is The X-Files. I'm a huge nerd for some Mulder & Scully =D I watch it every day if I can and have most of the seasons on DVD (getting the collector's boxset oh-so-soon!). I tend to develop squealy-fan-girl crushes with someone in the series I love. For X-Files, it is of course Mulder =3

My second favorite series is Lie to Me. I watched it on accident the night the pilot aired and instantly loved it. I thought it was a new idea and the writing, directing and acting was brilliant. I'm a big Lightman/Foster shipper and my crush for the show is Cal =3 For some reason, I never saw Eli as anything more than someone who would be fun to have as a big brother. His lying late in the 1st season is a big no-no for me!

Some other shows I am fond of are Dexter, House MD, Nurse Jackie and Weeds.

While I prefer to stick to my favorite when it comes to television, I am very open when it comes to movies. I will watch anything (short of annoying children movies, although some of those can be enjoyable, too). I tend to like movies that are at least a couple of years old instead of the weekend boxoffice hits.

Some of my favorites are Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, The Ninth Gate, The Final Cut, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, The X-Files movies (even I Want To Believe, even though I have a few bones to pick!), and a couple foreign films like Thirteen and Memories of Murder. I am a huge Quentin Tarantino fan and you bet I'll be seeing Inglorious Basterds opening night =D

I have a lovely cat named Sasha. Just thought you would like to know.

Hobbies: Playing soccer & tennis, playing trivial pursuit, listening to music, playing piano, writing, surfing the web and hanging out with friends.
